Upper Saddle River 5k Run
On Thanksgiving morning don't forget to burn some calories, catch up with the neighbors, help the community and go home with a sharp looking t-shirt (and maybe more). That's right … please come to the Upper Saddle River 5k Run (Formerly The Dick Meighan Memorial 5k Run). Once again, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the Upper Saddle River Rec Commission promises another stellar event. We expect the usual highly-competitive individual and family competitions, plus we'll be providing top-notch awards, a complimentary t-shirt, hat, and a super spread of post-race refreshments.
need your help! We will be collecting used sports equipment for Let's Play it Forward. Items that are accepted include: Footballs, kickballs, soccer balls, volleyballs and basketballs, all baseball, soccer, softball, hockey, tennis and lacrosse equipment, pinneys, orange cones and discs, rollerblades, golf bags, full set of irons, woods, individual irons, wedges, putters and golf balls, shin guards, ski goggles and gloves, uniforms in sets of 12 or more and gently used sneakers. Items not accepted are football gear, golf shoes, wrestling and swimming gear, apparel, skateboards, skis and ski boots. Thank you in advance.
Registration and pick-up of t-shirt, hat, and race number may be done in person on race eve from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Wednesday November 23 at Cavallini School, gymnasium, Upper Saddle River, NJ.

The race is organized
by the Upper Saddle River Recreation Commission through the generosity of the families and businesses listed in our Sponsors Page. This year's race will follow the format of our previous races and feature individual and family team competition.
To support and reward the participation
of young people, age divisions are: 10-and-under,
11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-24, 25-29. In 2007 we added
a new catagory, The Baby Buggy Brigade, to add a new element
of fun to the annual race.
